The Mission Statement as it currently is, amendments will be made at my discretion:

The Art of Terragen will be a tool to be used by Terragen artists who would like to become better at their artform. Our goal is to improve to overall image and usage of TG through mentoring growing artists.

The setup:
As a community we need building blocks, to acquire them I will be looking for accomplished and well rounded TG artists to become Mentor Members. These people will basically be another version of a staff member, and MUST be open to receiving and answering TG questions, as well as giving constructive criticism when asked to. All previously accepted members are welcome to join as Mentor Members. (Yes, I'm going to be selective about who I choose)

The rest of the members will be referred to as regular Members. I'll be very clear, we're not going to coddle anyone, we're going to call it as we see it and provide constructive criticism. If you give us a two second render to look over, we'll see through it in a instant and call it what it is, however, if you provide us with a piece of work that clearly had effort put into it and you have specific questions and areas that you would like to be addressed, we will be more than happy to do so.

It is also important to note that, while I am more than accepting of post work on images, it is necessary that the landscape/waterscape be the focus of the piece and that the post work compliments it, as opposed to the post work being the main focus.

There will be resources posted by our Staff and Mentor Members on some kind of basis. Brent has kindly offered to submit one sometime in the near future, and I look forward to seeing it. We will also attempt to have artpacks along the way in which everyone can participate.

I will also be looking to expand the staff membership in the near future. I already have one candidate in mind because he's helped us out before, but I am looking for around 3 people, and it is open to application.

Applications are open as of.... now... and there's only one staff position left open.

It would be very much appreciated if you could get the word out. I will be posting a news story in the near future, but any kind of support would be appreciated.

The new pack has been announced and the gears are moving steadily. I seem to have had an increase in my workload, but I assure you that I am still dedicated to getting this party rolling. Wati and see what we come up with.
